Chin Tat Him

My first exposure to making disciple was in the year 2,000 when I attended the Growing a Healthy Church Strategy Seminar in Singapore. I realised then that I was merely an M1 disciple while serving full time in Sengkang Methodist Church as a Local Ministry Staff. I was even more convinced about the need for a movement of multiplying disciples who make disciples to finish the Great Commission when I started training others using Sonlife materials since 2003. In the process of training others, I was challenged to walk as Jesus walked personally. And also to slowly think and act like a movement leader that implement Jesus’ strategy in the ministry I’m involved on personally and those I’m coaching. At the moment I’m closely following through with a few of the Pastors and Leaders in various countries on both personal and ministry matters. After almost 20 years of teaching and trying to create disciple-making movement as Jesus did, we are now moving into the launching of Disciple-making Coaching Centers (DCC) in the countries we are serving. The end goal is to reproduce L4s (movement leaders that launch DCC) and to multiply DCC to coach churches to finish the Great Commission. We are praying and trusting God for 2,000 DCCs by the year 2025. We are also praying and asking God for all the resources needed to bring this vision to pass. Chin Tat Him/57/Singapore/IDN
